From 11th to 12th October 2012 the EU-USR project Partners gathered in MENON premises at Brussels, with the aim of introducing the Project team, giving an overview of the projects main objective, the results to be expected, and first steps and activities to be taken on that behalf.
The integration workshop took place in April 2013 at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, for members of the Consortium to present the outcomes of an extensive programme of desk research focused on identification of examples of good practice in USR across Europe and to commence the process of developing draft benchmark standards for USR.
The 3rd Project Meeting has been held in Bucharest on 5th of September 2013 within University Politehnica of Bucharest premises. Within the meeting, the partners reviewed the status of the Implementation of the workplan as well as the planned actions for the next period. The main issues addressed have been related to the organization of next scheduled
The 4th Steering Committee meeting that took place last 14th November in Cádiz (ES) was hosted by the University of Cadiz, EU-USR associate partner. Within the meeting, the partners reviewed the status of the Project activities, and planned the oncoming months. This meeting took place together with the 3rd Benchmarking visit to the University of Cádiz,
The 5th Steering Committee meeting that took place 20th February 2014 in Cádiz (ES) was hosted by the University of Cadiz, EU-USR associate partner and also host of the International conference on USR in which our project was invited to present 3 papers in the round table “the situation of USR in Europe”.
The 6th and last Steering Committee Meeting took place the 8-9th of September in Portugal, in the premises of University of Porto. This Meeting was key towards the Project final outputs closure and the final discussions between Partners. Special attention was given to the Project manifesto and the enhancement of its endorsement.
